Booking Fee
(Deposit), Tardiness, Rescheduling,
Cancellations, ect.

We require a Booking Fee (Deposit) to book a tattoo appointment.The amount of this fee varies depending on the type of tattoo appointment you are booking and the amount of time being booked.

Due to the nature of our business it can be hard to fill spots last minute especially for weekday appointments, in the peak cancellation period, and in the slow season. We have an overhead that we are required to pay to live and stay in business and we are expecting to be paid for the day that you book. When you book an appointment you are making a commitment to show up. When you cancel last minute we don't get paid unless we can fill the spot with someone else. This is why we charge a fee to book an appointment. When you breach your contract to show up for an appointment you committed to you will be charged.

Losing a days pay for us is a big deal and we don't take it lightly. We require at least 72 hours notice or more for all cancellations and rescheduling appointments. Those who cancel or reschedule with more than 72 hours notice may be required to put down a new booking fee (deposit) if they, cancel during peek cancellation periods, slow season, have rescheduled several times or cancelled without rebooking for a future date to confirm they are committed to the tattoo they first agreed to get. Those who cancel or reschedule within 72 hours may be required to put down larger deposits or be black listed. A mental note will be taken for those who attempt to cancel within 24 hours as well and may be charge a larger fee next booking or may be black listed all together.

Booking Fees (Deposits) are NOT REFUNDABLE & NOT TRANSFERABLE! No Exceptions!

Rules & Restrictions:

  • Consultation Fees are not a booking fee (deposit).

    • They are a separate fee to compensate artist for their time.

    • They will not come off the price of the tattoo.

  • Drawing Fees are not a booking fee (deposit). ​

    • They are a separate fee to compensate artist for their time.

    • They will not come off the price of the tattoo.

  • We require 72 hours notice or more for all cancellations & rescheduling.

  • We require 1 hour notice if you will be late to an appointment.

    • Please call or message asap if you will be late to your appointment.

  • MUST be 18+ to book a tattoo appointment & get tattooed.

  • Do not NO SHOW your tattoo appointment.

  • Do not bring a guest without prior approval from your artist.

  • There are NO REFUNDS on any tattoo or booking fee (deposit) for any reason.

  • DO NOT show up intoxicated!

    • "Intoxicated": Alcohol, ketamine, tranq, cocaine, heroin, meth, heavy pain medication, ect. anything that will put you out of your "right mind", that may alter your decision making process and make it hard for us to work on you.​

  • We do not accept traffic delay, car accidents, sickness or death as valid reasons to be late, cancel or reschedule.​

    • Even with a photo proof, insurance claim, sick note or death certificate. 

  • It is up to the artists discretion how many times they allow client to use the same booking fee (deposit) to reschedule.

  • The artist reserves the right to deny service to any client at any time for any reason & without giving a reason.

  • If client does not pay in full after tattoo session is completed:

    • The remaining amount owed for the tattoo will be sent to collections and additional fees may apply.

    • A payment grace period may be given at the artists discretion.

      • ​If the client does not pay within the grace period, is hard to track down/contact, or blocks the artist from communication:​​

        • The remaining amount of the tattoo will be sent to collections and additional fees may apply.​

Booking fee (Deposit) info:​

  • This fee is taken as surety that you are committing to show up for an appointment you booked.

  • A 50% or $200 minimum non-refundable booking fee (deposit) is required to book a tattoo appointment.

  • A $500 Booking Fee (deposit) is required to start a Sleeve Commitment Package process.

  • All clients are required to pay a booking fee (deposit) to book a day and time for tattoo work to be done​.

  • Booking Fees (deposits) are Non-refundable and Non-transferable.

  • Must be 18 years or older to book a tattoo appointment. No exceptions!

  • Consultation Fees & Design Fees are not Booking Fees (deposits) and they do not come off the price of the tattoo appointment.

The Booking Fee (deposit) will be charged or forfeited if:

  • Client used false information or fake id to book a tattoo appointment.

    • The appointment will be cancelled by the artist on the spot.​

    • Full booking fee (deposit) will be forfeited by the client.

  • Client shows up intoxicated, belligerent, drunk, and/or under the influence of drugs and the artist deems them untattooable.

    • The appointment will be cancelled by the artist on the spot.​

    • Full booking fee (deposit) will be forfeited by the client.

  • Client is asked to leave if they are disrespectful and rude.

    • The appointment will be cancelled by the artist on the spot.​

    • Full booking fee (deposit) will be forfeited by the client.

  • Client brings a guest without prior approval

    • $50 per unexpected guest​.

    • If unexpected guest is disrespectful and rude to the artist...

      • The appointment will be cancelled by the artist on the spot.​

      • Full booking fee (deposit) will be forfeited by the client.

      • Client will be responsible to pay for tattoo time/work completed during the session.

  • Client shows up late or no shows.

    • $50 to full booking fee (deposit) will be charge​d.

  • Client cancels or reschedules.

    • $50 to full booking fee (deposit) will be charged​ at the artists discretion.

  • Client changes their mind and no longer wants to be tattooed.

    • Full booking fee (deposit) will be forfeited.​

  • Client passes away (dies suddenly).

    • ​Full booking fee (deposit) will be forfeited.

  • Client cancels or reschedules during peek cancelation period.​

    • Our peek cancelation period is during the summer months due to people wanting to spend excess money on vacations: June to September

  • Client cancels or reschedules during slow season.

    • Our slow season is after the winter holidays due to most peoples excess spending for the holidays: January to March​

Booking Fee (deposit) will be forfeited or charged for Tardiness, No Shows, Cancellations and Rescheduling if:

  • Client No Shows a booked tattoo appointment: $200 - full booking fee (deposit)

    • Full Booking Fee (deposit) will compensate the artist for lost time in their schedule

    • ​​​In the case that clients come back later and want their Booking Fee (deposit) back: Booking Fees (deposits) are non-refundable and non-transferable​

  • Client is late to appointment without notification: $25 per 15min.

    • A full hour of tartiness will be considered a No Show and artist is not required to stay on premises.

  • Client gives notification but will be more then 1 hour late: $25 per 15min. thereafter

    • After 2 hours have passed the appointment will be cancelled by the artist and a new Booking Fee (deposit) will be required to reschedule.​

  • Client Cancels an appointment with more than 1 week of notice but no replacement is found:  $50 - full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion

    • If a replacement is found to fill the appointment: $50 - $200 or Full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

      • It is likely that we will find a replacement within this time frame but incase we don't:

        • We will advertise on social media to try and obtain a replacement, contact those on our waiting list or you may find a replacement.

        • We may offer a discount up to your full Booking Fee (deposit) to the general public in an attempt to fill the appointment.

        • If you find a replacement and they fulfill your whole time slot you may keep your full Booking Fee (deposit).

  • Client Cancels an appointment within 1 week of an appointment date but no replacement is found:  $50 - full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

    • If a replacement is found to fill the appointment: $50 - $200 or Full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

      • It is likely that we will find a replacement within this time frame but incase we don't:

        • We will advertise on social media to try and obtain a replacement, contact those on our waiting list or you may find a replacement.

          • We may offer a discount up to your full Booking Fee (deposit) to the general public in an attempt to fill the appointment.

          • If you find a replacement and they fulfill your whole time slot you may keep your full Booking Fee (deposit).

  • Client Cancels an appointment with 72 hours but no replacement is found:  $50 - full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

    • If a replacement is found to fill the appointment: $50 - $200 or Full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

      • It is highly unlikely that we will find a replacement within this short window of time.​

      • We will advertise on social media to try and obtain a replacement, contact those on our waiting list or you may find a replacement.

        • We may offer a discount up to your full Booking Fee (deposit) to the general public in an attempt to fill the appointment.

        • If you find a replacement and they fulfill your whole time slot you may keep your full Booking Fee (deposit).

  • Client Cancels an appointment with 48 hours or more notice but no replacement is found: $100 - full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

    • If a replacement is found to fill the appointment: $50 - $200 or full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

      • It is highly unlikely that we will find a replacement within this short window of time.​

      • We will advertise on social media to try and obtain a replacement, contact those on our waiting list or you may find a replacement.

        • We may offer a discount up to your full Booking Fee (deposit) to the general public in an attempt to fill the appointment.

        • If you find a replacement and they fulfill your whole time slot you may keep your full Booking Fee (deposit).

  • Client cancels 24 hours or less before appointment: $200 - full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion

    • If a replacement is found to fill the appointment: $50 - $200 or full Booking Fee (deposit) at artists discretion ​

      • It is highly unlikely that we will find a replacement within this short window of time.​

      • We will advertise on social media to try and obtain a replacement, contact those on our waiting list or you may find a replacement.

        • We may offer a discount up to your full booking fee (deposit) to the general public in an attempt to fill the appointment.

        • If you find a replacement and they fulfill your whole time slot you may keep your full booking fee (deposit).

  • Client cancels/reschedules during peek cancellation period between from June to September : $50 - $200 or Full booking fee (deposit) at artists discretion

  • Client cancels/reschedules during slow season between from January to March: $50 - $200 or Full booking fee (deposit) at artists discretion

  • Client is late, cancels or reschedules due to a car accident, sickness or death in regards to the client, their friend or their family.

    • $50 - $200 or Full booking fee (deposit) at artists discretion​

  • Client no longer wants to get a tattoo at Fawcett Tattoos: Full booking fee (deposit) will be kept.

    • ​Booking Fees (deposits) are non-refundable and non-transferable​

  • Client dies suddenly: Full booking fee (deposit) will be kept.

    • Booking Fees (deposits) are non-refundable and non-transferable​

Sleeve Commitment Packages:

  • To consider a client committed to a Sleeve we require the sleeve to be completed within 1 year of the first tattoo session.

    • In some cases we my extend this by 6 months with prior notice​

    • We require the client to book once per month or every other month in order to keep this special $1,000 per TAPOUT session tattoo rate.

    • If 18 months pass and the sleeve is still not finished due to client scheduling issues:

      • The client will be charged regular TAPOUT session rate or regular hourly rate, whatever the artist determines to be suitable for a contract breach.

      • However, an additional extension may be offered if the client could not book due to artist scheduling issues.

  • A $500 roll-over Booking Fee (deposit) is required to start the Sleeve Commitment process.

  • $1,000 will be due on the day of each tattoo appointment.

    • $500 will be due on the day of the last tattoo appointment to consider the sleeve completed by the artist​.

  • The $500 Booking Fee (deposit) starts the design process.

    • Upon approval of the design the first appointment is booked and the $500 Booking Fee (deposit) is used to book each appointment.

  • The $500 Deposit comes off the final price of the tattoo to consider the piece finished before the Free Touch Up session.

  • The Booking Fee (deposit) confirms and secures the booking date for the appointment and insures no other client will take their spot.

  • During the appointment the client will book their next session if the Booking Fee (deposit) & Cancellation Policy were not violated.

  • The Booking Fee (deposit) will roll-over to the next session until the last session.

  • If the client can not book another session after their tattoo session is finished, the deposit will be held until the next date can be set. 

    • ONLY If the client was prompt to their appointment without the Booking Fee (deposit) & Cancellation Policy being violated.

    • If our deposit policy was violated the deposit will de docked and a new deposit will be required to continue the process. 

    • Alternatively the artist may cancel the contract if client is being difficult in regards to scheduling.

  • If the client cancels their appointment without setting a new date within 1 month or reschedules an appointment multiple times:

    • Artist reserves the right to cancel or terminate the contract if the Booking Fee (deposit) & Cancellation Policy is violated.

    • The client will be charge regular TAPOUT session prices at $1,200 per session or be black listed.

  • The deposit comes off of the last session when the sleeve is considered complete by the tattoo artist not the client.

    • This is to insure the client comes back to finish the work the Fawcett Tattoos artist has started. 

  • The artist reserves the right to terminate a Sleeve Commitment Package contract at any time for any reason & without giving a reason.​

 

Please be sure you want a tattoo before putting down money!

There are NO REFUNDS and NO TRANSFERS on booking fees (deposits) and any work being done. 

NO EXCEPTIONS.
